Masters Vitrifier
It is a bi-component water-based finishing protection with a velvety appearance. It is particularly recommended as a finishing coat for industrial paving, self-leveling epoxy, polyurethane and concrete floors, as well as for all other closed supports. It offers excellent UV and abrasion resistance. It also protects against stains and chemicals. Masters Vitrifier can easily be tinted using water-based pigment pastes. Dose at a rate of 5 to 10% of the weight of the product according to the desired shade.
Uses
- Indoors and outdoors
- Self-leveling concrete floors
- Self-leveling floors in epoxy resin and polyurethane
- Quartz concrete industrial floors
- Other so-called "closed" coatings (non-porous)
Manual
- Clean the support to remove all traces of oil, grease, wax and possibly other varnishes. If necessary remove the surface layer with abrasive paper.
- Mix the first component alone at slow speed (300 rpm) then gradually add the second component. Mix for 3 minutes.
- Apply with a lacquer roller in 1 or 2 thin coats (100-125g/m²). The mixture dries quite quickly. Therefore, do not iron in areas that are beginning to dry at the risk of creating streaks.
- If necessary, apply a second coat after the complete drying of the first.
- Clean tools with water.
Tips
- For an application on an industrial paving or a self-leveling concrete, we recommend the use of a first coat of Masters Impregnator in order to favor grip. In this case apply a coat of Impregnator Masters and another coat of Vitrifier Masters.
- To obtain quality protection on waxed concrete or other Decorative Concrete, preferably choose a two-component product. The polymerization created during the assembly of these two components makes it possible to obtain a resin of superior quality to any other single-component product.
- Good protection requires 2 coats.
- If you find your coating too slippery and you want an anti-slip effect, it is possible to add an anti-slip (micro glass beads) in the first layer of protection.
